Auburn Kids Learning Academy is our most intimate centre - just 28 places, by design. In a suburb as wonderfully diverse as Auburn, we've built a centre where every family's language and culture is welcomed, and where small group sizes mean your child gets genuinely personal care every single day. From 6 weeks to 6 years, children here are known, celebrated and gently guided toward school readiness - all within a warm, homely space on Parramatta Road.

OUR CENTRE PHILOSOPHY
At Auburn Kids Learning Academy, we believe childhood is a time of wonder, identity and possibility. We see every child as capable and confident - an active partner in their own learning - and we honour the rich diversity of cultures, languages and family stories that make Auburn so special.

Our educators are committed professionals who reflect on their practice daily and work together to support each child's strengths and needs.

We care for our environment, embed sustainable habits, and above all keep a child-safe culture at the centre of everything we do. Our program is proudly guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standard and Australia's Child Safe Standards.

Kanchana Ravikumar
Centre Manager, Auburn & Educational Leader
Kanchana Ravikumar is an experienced early childhood educator and leader with a strong background in curriculum design, quality improvement and sustainable practices.
She has worked as an Educational Leader, Assistant Director and Preschool Teacher, supporting children's learning through inclusive, play-based and culturally responsive programs. Known for her warm leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement, Kanchana mentors educators, collaborates closely with families and champions high-quality, child-centred practice.
She completed her Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) and has been recognised with multiple awards for excellence, innovation and wellbeing.

Auburn Kids Learning Academy has been caring for Auburn families for more than 20 years. Today it is proudly part of the Kids Learning Academy family, led by founder and approved provider Krishna Bhavani Annamalai, who brings over 18 years of early childhood leadership across South-West and Western Sydney. Under KLA, Auburn families enjoy the same close-knit, personal centre they've always known—now with the programs, quality standards and family partnerships of the wider KLA group.
Our close-knit team of qualified educators doesn't just work with children — they raise their own. Many of our educators are parents themselves, and that lived experience matters deeply to us. They understand firsthand the trust it takes to hand your child to someone else's care each morning, the worry that can linger through the day, and the relief of being truly kept in the loop. That understanding shapes everything from the way we greet your child at the door to the way we communicate with you at pick-up. Care at AKLA is never one-size-fits-all.
We take the time to learn each child's rhythms, preferences, and personality, tailoring our approach so every child feels at home, not just enrolled. Our environment is warm, unhurried, and intentionally homely because we believe children thrive when they feel genuinely safe and genuinely seen. We are proudly multicultural and multilingual, reflecting the beautiful diversity of the Auburn community we serve. Our team brings together a rich mix of cultural backgrounds and languages, allowing us to connect authentically with families from all walks of life and ensuring every child and every parent feels welcomed, respected, and understood exactly as they are.
